We have expanded payroll coverage for our new solution, FingerCheck360, to include California! The Golden State joins New York and New Jersey in the list of states covered by FingerCheck360.
While currently, only businesses in these states can sign up for FingerCheck360, expansion to additional states is slated to take place throughout the year.
Company CEO Joel Kohn says, “Since the announcement of FingerCheck360, we’ve received requests from customers across the U.S. inquiring about when we will offer payroll in their region. With FingerCheck360 just launching at that start of the year, we are pleased to be able to expand our solution to California. As the company grows, we will take into consideration the businesses that have contacted us in order to decide which areas we will serve next.”
The strategy to roll out payroll is multi-faceted, as the FingerCheck team will need to review compliance procedures on a state-by-state basis, as every state has its own regulation regarding payroll.
“Labor laws and wage and hour rules differ from state to state,” says Merle Capello, CPP and Payroll Compliance Director of FingerCheck. “Building the infrastructure that supports those rules is time-consuming because ultimately, the accuracy of payroll calculation is dependent on wage and hour rules. However, we are certain we can handle the workload as the company grows through the year.”
FingerCheck360 is an all-in-one workforce management solution that tracks employees’ hours and also allows employers to run payroll using the exact same software. To request FingerCheck360 in your state, please leave a comment below!
