With just one day left before Election Day 2020, New Yorkers have turned out in record numbers to cast early votes all October long. From early voting stations located throughout the boroughs to mail-in absentee ballots, the numbers are staggering. So, in case you haven’t voted yet, Fingercheck offers you some important information so you’re fully prepared and ready to VOTE!

Voter Concerns

It’s no secret that the economy and pandemic are top priorities for not just New Yorkers but for the rest of the country. Small business owners await the outcome of a new stimulus package as many small and mid-sized businesses struggle. It’s believed that despite failed attempts to get a new stimulus package approved, that one will be settled on and passed post-election.

Find Out Where to Vote

Voters registered in New York can look up where to vote on New York’s site.

What to Bring

  • If you’ve voted in New York before, you don’t need to provide an ID to vote.
  • If you’re a first-time voter who registered by mail and didn’t provide a copy of your ID with your registration, you may need to show ID to vote. Acceptable forms include a current and valid photo ID; or a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or another government document that shows your name and address.
  • If you’re a first-time voter and unable to provide ID: You will be able to vote an affidavit ballot.
