New York Mandates Anti-Sexual Harassment Training

Attention All New York State Employers!

To keep you informed of all the latest HR news and policies, we at Fingercheck want to make you aware of the Oct. 9th deadline to conduct Anti-Sexual Harassment Training.

As part of the 2018 Women’s Agenda for New York: Equal Rights, Equal Opportunity, New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo has been leading the campaign to bring laws combating sexual harassment in the workplace.

Under Local Law 96 of 2018, employers with 15 or more employees are required to conduct annual anti-sexual harassment training for all employees. New York State Law requires that employers of one or more employees must conduct anti-sexual harassment training for all employees by 10/9/19.
