That’s why we launched Fingercheck’s Feature Request forum and, based on your responses, we’re thrilled to bring you our latest batch of bug fixes and feature updates.

Web and Mobile: Payroll Processing Extension

This update allows you to extend your payroll processing deadline to 8:30 pm. Eastern time with no late fees.

Now there are two ways to process your firm’s payroll and direct deposit payments to your employees.

The method you use to process your firm’s payroll determines the deadlines for running payroll before the pay date.

METHOD #1: Review & Run: You must process payroll at least four days before the pay date. Fingercheck will collect money from your company’s bank account after payroll is run.

METHOD #2: Rapid Run: Fingercheck will collect money from your company’s bank account ahead of time, so it will be ready to send to employees faster. You can process payroll as little as one day before the pay date.

In both cases, your deadline for processing payroll with direct deposit is 8:30 P.M. Eastern Time.

The Rapid Run allows you to run your payroll with one click. Fingercheck now offers two options for processing payroll. These include:

• Review & Run, which is our current step-by-step process, or
• The new Rapid Run option offers customers the same payroll module but now you can skip the review and run payroll with just one click.

Web: Employee Onboarding and Employee Tax Setup

Fingercheck’s Employee Onboarding and Employee Tax Setup feature give the ability for clients to indicate employee home locations as a company work location for taxes. The feature automatically creates a new work location under the company division, then generates a task within the system to sign a new agreement (POA), and sends an email to the client with further instructions.

Web: Reports

Fingercheck offers lots of ways to filter reports using the filter “position,” which brings a dropdown menu with all of the company’s positions. Users can now Filter by One Position or Filter by Multiple Positions.

Mobile: Mask Employee’s Pay

In the mobile app, Mask Employee’s Pay is now enabled as a default setting. This setting matches Fingercheck’s web platform. There is a new “view” icon to unhide and see pay information.
