If you’re a supervisor or an administrator, FingerCheck has made an important change you’ll want to hear about.
Previously, FingerCheck administrators received notifications for all PTO requests by default. Once supervisors were added, along with the supervisors, the administrators would still receive notifications.
We’ve made some changes based on your feedback, and by default, administrators will no longer receive email notifications regarding PTO. Instead, each company can decide who should receive these notifications by going into “Default Settings” and entering the email address of whoever they’d like to be notified.
Whether it be your HR personnel, a secretary, or even a specific supervisor, you can now map notifications to any member of your staff. If you still want the administrator to receive the notifications, just enter the administrator email address in that field. Our new setting ensures that only the necessary people you want to be notified of requests are.
Currently, the only notifications that are designated to administrators and supervisors are PTO requests. However, as the software grows, we know this new customization will prove to be even more useful in the future.
