We are excited to roll out our new feature that allows employees to approve their timecards online or through our mobile app with a digital signature.

Companies that used to require employees to sign their time cards no longer have to contend with the hassle of printing time cards and waiting for them to be returned. Employees can now log into FingerCheck online or via the mobile app and approve their timecards instantly by signing directly on their digital time cards.

Administrators can easily enable this feature by logging onto FingerCheck, clicking on the “Setup” tab, and clicking on “Division Information” from the left sidebar. Next to the very last field in the window that says “Employee Signature” they can check the box that reads “Employee Time Card Signature.”

It’s just as simple for employees to sign. When logged in from a web browser, employees can approve timesheets by navigating to their “Time Card” tab, checking “Approved By Employee,” signing using their cursor, and clicking “OK.”

When logged in from the mobile app, employees can swipe to access the side menu and select “Time Card.” They can approve or decline by tapping on “Decline” or “Approve,” then signing their name with their finger and clicking on “Submit.”

The new approval signature feature is one of many designed to make the time tracking process more simple for employers and employees.
