We’ve added three new features in our latest mobile app update that enhance functionality and give the mobile app a fresher feel! We’ve updated our login screen, date selection navigation, and added punch detail information for employees.
This update is currently live for Android devices, and Apple devices will receive the update soon. We strive to take into consideration the feedback of our clients and use those suggestions to make positive changes.
First, the mobile app now features a sleek new login page built with a “Forgot Password” option for users who need a password reset.
After logging in, you’ll notice that we made an update to the Time Card. You can now switch to different dates more efficiently within the time card using a shortcut we’ve added. Previously, users could only tap on the right and left arrows to move to different pay periods. Now, just by tapping, users can quickly select their pay period from a pop-up list and pull up the time card data for that specific date range, providing a fast and efficient method to navigate to different dates.
Both employees and supervisors have this new feature:
- Employees when in the Time Card, can tap the pay period to select a different date frame
- Supervisors within Review Timesheets and Daily Details tap to select a different date frame
Third, we’ve added an option for employees to review their punches in detail on the FingerCheck mobile app. Once an employee logs into the mobile app, they can review all their punches within the “Time Card” tab and simply tap on any punch to view information about it, including type, time of punch, entry type, details, and note.
While this addition may seem small, this enhancement increases functionality for employees and provides useful punch information in case an employee wants to double-check their records. Employees that are assigned employee self-service have access to the website as well as the mobile app.
