Fingercheck Updates Its QuickBooks Desktop Integration

We’ve updated our QuickBooks Desktop integration with an external plugin that allows for greater functionality when importing/exporting data.

Automatic Job Import

If you use Fingercheck to track time allocated to jobs, in order for your employees to have an up-to-date job selection when clocking in, you would want to import all your customers from QuickBooks. Also, if you want a complete and accurate breakdown of the total cost per job/customer, including all employer taxes and workers’ comp insurance, you know how important it is for that data to sync with QuickBooks.

However, in order to make sure the data is seamlessly integrated between Fingercheck and QuickBooks, the customers and jobs need to match. We are excited to tell you that you no longer need to manually add jobs in Fingercheck and make sure they are identically spelled. With our new plugin, Fingercheck automatically pulls in all those jobs and import all your customers from QuickBooks with just one click of a button.

Enhanced Multi-User Mode Capabilities

Additionally, if you have Fingerccheck360, you now have the ability to import your General Leger when QuickBooks is in multi-user mode, giving you the freedom to import the IIF file at your convenience. Previously, you were only able to import the file using QuickBooks in single-user mode requiring to boot all users off in order to switch to single-user mode.

This new tool, created completely from scratch by our developers, is just the start of enhancing the integration between Fingercheck and QuickBooksDesktop. We plan on updating our integration with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online so that you have the best user experience possible.
