The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requires non-discretionary bonuses to be included in the regular rate of pay when determining overtime pay. By definition, a non-discretionary bonus is a bonus that is “promised or expected and tends to be dependent on the quality, quantity or efficiency of production or hours worked,” according to SHRM. FingerCheck Now Offering Pay-As-You-Go Workers’ Comp with NYSIF


The New York State Insurance Fund, also known as NYSIF, is New York State’s Largest Workers’ Compensation & Disability Benefits Carrier. The insurance fund has now approved FingerCheck as a payroll partner in which to handle Pay-As-You-Go Workers’ Compensation payments. Eligible policyholders can now enroll in NYSIF PAYGO, a model of workers’ comp that allows employers to pay their workers’ comp insurance payments, each payroll, through approved payroll processors like FingerCheck. 2016 has been a year of incredible growth and change for FingerCheck.
